Important Update: Gala Cancelled, New Additions to Berks Pride Fest!

After much thought and discussion, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Gala. While this long-standing event has brought our community together in meaningful ways over the years, shifting community interests and limited support have made it increasingly challenging to host the Gala as we once did.

But we're not slowing down—in fact, we’re growing and evolving! 💪

We’re excited to announce that two beloved Gala traditions are moving to Berks Pride Fest on Sunday, July 20th at Jim Dietrich Park:

🎤 The Ambassador Competition will now take place on the main stage, where we’ll celebrate leadership, activism, and the vibrant voices making a difference in our community.

🎟️ The Silent Auction is becoming a Pride Raffle! Stop by the Reading Pride booth during the festival to check out the incredible prizes donated by our generous supporters—all funds raised go directly to supporting our year-round LGBTQ+ programs.

Berks Pride Fest continues to be the heart of our mission—bringing thousands together in joy, solidarity, and pride. We’re excited to make the festival even more engaging and community-focused than ever before.
