The Pride Gives back grant provides Micro Grants to Berks County LGBTQ+ Groups.

Our Pride festival, the Berks Pride Fest is the oldest and largest Pride Festival in the Area. Each year, we celebrate the festival on the 3rd Sunday of July.

The Pride Prom, generally taking place in May, provides a safe & inclusive Prom experience. LGBTQ+ Juniors, Seniors, & their allies are invited to attend the Prom as their authentic selves with the person of their choosing. The Prom is free of charge, thanks to generous donors like you.

Starting in 2024 with the first card, we host an annual competition of local LGBTQ+ artists of all ages to design a library card that celebrates LGBTQ+ history, contributions, Pride, etc. The Winning card becomes the design for the County Library card.

For Pride month each year, we host the artist showcase. The showcase displays art of all mediums created by Pennsylvania LGBTQ+ artists.

The Rainbow letters is a living LGBTQ+ History Project. The project seeks to collect, preserve & display our local LGBTQ+ History. We collect story's, news articles, art, items, memorabilia, and more. Our history often goes untold, and when it remains untold, it is lost to time. We Celebrate our Transgender community with a flag raising ceremony & other events.

Each year we remember those we lost to hate and violence with a special memorial service.

Each year community members compete to earn the title of ambassador. They are required to be actively involved in the community and contribute to betterment of the LGBTQ+ community. They serve as a role model to community members of all ages. Click here for more info.
