Tickets are $20 and available on our FB page, website and on Eventbrite
This one-of-a-kind show based on Jacobs’ five published memoirs combines hilarious stories with a personal narrative covering LGBT and relationship issues plus the nationwide march toward marriage equality – and what has been happening since.
At it’s core, is the author’s insistence that nothing is ever so horrible if it’s worth the story you can tell. The event has Fay’s signature humor and relatable stories of our community tackling life, liberty and the aging process.
Fay has performed up and down the East Coast, with standing ovations at The Duplex Cabaret in New York City, at Women’s Week in P-Town, on an Oliva cruise, and in Asheville, New Orleans, Carefree Resort, St. Pete, Allentown, Mt. Airy, Rehoboth Beach and more.
So, come along for the ride as Fay and her wife Bonnie share life in one boat, two condos, two houses, and an RV, loving a succession of Schnauzers, and being domestic partnered, civil unioned and married. From zip lines to skunk sprays, lesbian invisibility to marriage equality, join Fay Jacobs for the journey. You’ll laugh and be moved.
The Double Tree will provide a cash bar; if you’re interested in coming early and having dinner, please notify the Double Tree for information regarding a discount.
All proceeds will benefit the LGBT Center of Greater Reading: 1501 N. 13th Street, Reading, PA 610-741-3923
