“I know where we’re going, cause I know where I’ve been”

Remarks by Donald Maher, a Berks County resident for the past 16 years, with deep NYC/Brooklyn roots; with reflections on the 50th Anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, Mr. Maher will take us through its related and his personal history, while speaking of his activism in behalf of the LGBTQ and other communities, and encouraging all in their own activism and volunteer efforts throughout our community. The presentation will conclude with very rare footage of Judy Garland singing “Over the Rainbow.”
